Zimbabwe has become the seventh African country where the relaunched Datsun brand is being distributed.
The company already ships vehicles to Botswana, Namibia, Lesotho, Swaziland, Mauritius and South Africa from manufacturing plants in India, Indonesia and Russia.
Datsun will be shipping the GO, GO+ as well as the GO+ PV (panel van).
According to the company, it has identified the lower end of the African market as an opportunity for the brand to re-establish itself.
The 2017 Kinsey report names the Datsun Go as the most affordable car in South Africa.
