The Department of Trade, Industry and Competition (dtic) has called on South African companies to take advantage of the opportunities presented by a virtual trade mission to Dubai.
Expo 2020 Dubai will be held from October 1, 2021 to March 31, 2022. The deadline for submission of application forms is July 23.
Potential participants will represent a range of sectors – from agriculture and agro-processing to global business services, metals and mining, and green hydrogen.
According to Deputy Minister of Trade, Industry and Competition, Fikile Majola, the expo aims to showcase South Africa’s industrial capabilities, products and service offerings and promote the country as a leading technology hub on the African continent.
