UTi Botswana has seen some major changes in its staff structure following the departure of its managing director Mark Thompson at the end of March this year.
Thompson, who has headed up the Botswana outfit for UTi for several years, has been recalled to South Africa having been promoted to director: new business sales for Africa.
While he will still be involved in Botswana projects from time to time he has handed over the reins to Joy Setshedi, who has been appointed the new general manager for UTi Botswana.
Keitumetse Mathebula is now the operations manager and will oversee all the operational issues around the day-to-day delivery of cargo at UTi Botswana as well as being in charge of all exports to South Africa. All customs matters will be handled by Maggie Mosimanegape.
Administration and international shipments is the portfolio of Mary-Anne Fitzsimmons and Oefile Tladi is head of sales/customer service/quotes.
