AIRLINK CARGO is keen to apply its
philosophy of providing a comprehensive
network linking all domestic and regional
destinations on a seamless basis in the
Eastern Cape.
Airlink’s expansive domestic coverage
includes Port Elizabeth, East London and
Mthatha, and through its spider web of
connections with the rest of South and
Southern Africa, it’s keen to market its
“anywhere to anywhere” express service in
the Eastern Cape.
Managing director Alwyn Rautenbach sees
big scope for the concept.
“We are a small player, but by entering
into pro rate agreements with other airlines,
like SAA and Express Air on the domestic leg,
we can extend our coverage to the benefit of
our customers.”
And this concept could extend to regional
destinations as well, offering customers a
Port Elizabeth to Pemba service for example,
hubbing at OR Tambo International.
