Over the 50 years we have published freight media, Joy Orlek has, for most of them, edited and produced what was called FTW and its previous iterations, both in print and online dailies.Raised in Vereeniging, she did her degree at Wits and had a spell as a Latin teacher before joining our publishing company in 1981. There would be no Freight News today without Joy, and she still is involved in each edition as a subeditor. She is part of the family.Freight News is owned by the Travel & Trade Promotion Organisation which was founded by John and Leona Marsh in 1953.
